You are probably reading this as a result of a specific need or simply an interest in what I do.  I will not overstate my qualifications or make any grand promises.  However, I will honestly explain what it is that I can offer in the form of service to assist you in making an insurance claim for your property.   This site will be personal and provide you with the basic information needed to determine if we should have further discussion regarding your property.  To the left is a list of pages- click on the one that best describes you for information tailored to your situation.

What is a Public Adjuster?

A Public Adjuster is someone licensed by the state to legally work with your insurance company on your behalf to reach a settlement on a property claim.   With knowledge in insurance policy, building codes, construction, and the claim process, a public adjuster is able to assess the damage to your structure and property, prepare the necessary documentation, present the information to your insurance company at an adjusters meeting, and negotiate a settlement on your behalf.   (You may have experienced building contractors providing this as part of their service- they are General Contractors who are licensed to remove and install components of your structure.  Legally they can not negotiate with your insurance company.)

Who am I?

I have lived most of my life in the Minneapolis area.  I grew up in Eden Prairie when it was still mostly farm fields, went to college in St. Paul, and continue to raise my family here.  I spent years working on a family farm in Iowa, working in social services in Alabama, California, and South Dakota, working in various building trades, and in the insurance industry.  I value family, doing the best job possible, helping people, and having a strong personal network of friends to lean on (because I reaize that I don't know everything.)
